Calbee Co., Ltd. will launch two new premium potato snacks under its “Grand Calbee” brand at Hankyu Umeda Main Store in Osaka starting April 3, 2026. The new products are “PotatoBasic Hokkaido Scallop Butter Flavor” and “PotatoRoast Grilled Bacon & Cheese Flavor,” designed as high-quality gifts or treats for personal enjoyment.
The “PotatoBasic Hokkaido Scallop Butter Flavor” uses 100% Hokkaido-grown potatoes and features a thick-cut texture that highlights the umami of scallops and the richness of butter, lightly seasoned to evoke a grilled finish. The “PotatoRoast Grilled Bacon & Cheese Flavor” employs thick-cut roasted potatoes topped with savory bacon and a rich cheese blend of cheddar and camembert, delivering a bold and authentic flavor.
Both products are sold in sets of three 23g bags (69g total) at 701 yen including tax. Grand Calbee offers a variety of gift boxes combining these new flavors with other seasonal and classic selections, catering to gift-giving and gourmet snack enthusiasts.
