Vege-Polisher™ V2B most effective vegetable polishing

Wyma’s Vege-Polisher™ is a world-leading vegetable polishing system, with over 850 units sold in more than 40 countries since its invention in the 1990s. Using proprietary rotary brush technology pioneered by Wyma, the system is tailored to meet specific polishing requirements, ensuring exceptional performance.

The V2B Vege-Polisher™ features a rotating drum composed of rows of durable nylon brushes. Fresh produce enters via a wide infeed chute, where two water pipes spray fresh or recycled water onto the produce as it moves through the drum. Vegetables are cleaned and polished through gentle contact with the rotating brushes and other produce.

At the outfeed, a smooth chute minimizes drop, ensuring a seamless transition to downstream equipment. The Vege-Polisher™ enhances the appearance of vegetables, helping to produce premium-quality products with greater appeal for retailers, ensuring polished produce meets the highest market standards.

Dual Vertical Bin & Bag Filler Gentle produce handling

For gentle produce handling when filling bins or bags, Wyma’s Vertical Bin & Bag Filler is an ideal solution.

The system features a De-elevator that lowers and stops just above the bottom of the bin or bag. Once in position, produce feeding begins. Soft fingers on the De-elevator gently guide the produce into the bin or bag, gradually raising to maintain minimal drop distance as the produce level rises.

When the bin or bag is full, the system halts produce feed until a new empty bin or bag is detected. In the dual-head model, the feed conveyor reverses to fill a second bin or bag, ensuring uninterrupted operation.

This efficient, gentle handling technology minimizes damage to produce while maximizing throughput, making it an excellent choice for operations that prioritize product quality and continuous workflow.

Horizontal Debris Remover removes dirt, roots and debris from potatoes

Wyma’s Horizontal Debris Remover efficiently eliminates dirt, roots, and other debris from potatoes, ensuring a cleaner product.

The system uses a specialized belt with rubber pintles to separate debris. Potatoes and debris are fed onto the belt, where the powered sweep roller directs the potatoes to the outfeed chute. Meanwhile, debris falls through the pintles to the base of the belt and is transported under the sweep roller to the waste chute at the machine’s end.

The gap between the powered sweep roller and the belt can be adjusted to control the size of debris removed, offering flexibility to suit different operational needs. A weight-balancing mechanism on the sweep roller ensures gentle pressure, preventing debris from becoming lodged in the belt and minimizing wear.

This efficient, adjustable design ensures reliable debris removal, improving produce quality while maintaining gentle handling for potatoes.

Multi-Zone Chips Fryer

To give the final product the characteristics you desire, we have designed the Multi-Zone Chips Fryer for optimal control of the frying process. The frying system consists of; frying pan, drum oil filter, oil circulation pump and a tube heat exchanger. The Frying pan has several oil in- and outlets, allowing you to control the temperature profile along the fryer. You can therefore customize and design a unique final product with the right crispiness, texture, colour and appearance. The drum oil filter continuously filters every drop of oil every 30-45 seconds. The oil pump transfers the vegetable oil into the tube heat exchanger, where the vegetable oil is heated indirectly by thermo oil or steam. To ensure the best frying oil quality and fastest Oil-Turn-Over-Rate, this frying system has the lowest total oil volume on the market.

2. Multi-Zone Fryer for French Fries

The Multi-Zone Frying System consists of; frying pan, drum oil filter, oil circulation pump and tube heat exchanger. The Frying pan with controlled oil flows together through multiple oil in- and outlets will give you the best tools to achieve the desired texture and colour. The frying belt lays directly on the pan bottom and with the belt return on the outside, it results in a very low total oil volume in the complete system. The drum oil filter continuously filters every drop of oil every 30-45 seconds. The oil pump transfers the oil to the tube heat exchanger, where the vegetable oil is heated indirectly by steam or thermo oil. After frying the product will pass a de-fatting step, which can be a special designed de-oiling vibratory conveyor or an oil miser. For coated fries and other potato products, a batter applicator, settling belt and 1st stage-frying step is added before the normal frying system.

3. Drying System for French Fries

During the drying process, the moisture content is reduced and will prepare the strips for the frying process so that the final texture and colour can be achieved. The new updated drying system from 2024 improve hygiene and cleanability which means longer production hours and saves energy with heat recovery. In the Belt Dryer, air with low temperature and high humidity will ensure even drying result of each strip. The Belt Dryer uses the counter-air-flow principle where the air flow covers the full width of the belts. Drying is used to maintain uniform colour, stabilize product quality, avoid weak and soggy products to get final crispy fries. Before entering the fryer, the dried strips are slowly conveyed on the Equilibration Belt to get an even and uniform moisture content.
