Preparations are well underway for the World Potato Congress 2026 Farmers Field Day, which will take place on Thursday, 29 October 2026 at FreshCrop, Mau Narok, Kenya.
The Field Day is expected to bring together WPC delegates from around the world, alongside more than 1,500 Kenyan farmers, researchers, seed companies, technology providers, and industry partners. The event aims to create a meeting point between global innovation and practical farming experience.
Visitors can expect live demonstration plots showcasing potato varieties and seed, crop nutrition and protection programmes, machinery and technology, precision agriculture, and smart farming solutions.
The full WPC 2026 programme and international speaker line-up are now available, featuring experts from across the global potato value chain. Topics include seed systems, genetics, crop protection, climate resilience, soil and water management, smart farming, processing, trade, and sustainable food systems.
With less than two months to go until the Congress opens in Naivasha, registrations continue to arrive from across the world as the international potato community prepares to meet in Kenya this October.
