Wyma Solutions, a global leader in post harvest processing and water treatment solutions for fresh produce, is proud to announce the launch of the Micron Filter XL at Hort Connections 2026, taking place from 1–4 June at the Adelaide Convention Centre.
The Micron Filter XL has been developed to meet increasing demand across the horticultural industry for high capacity, reliable water filtration that supports water reuse, reduces waste, and improves overall wash line performance. Designed for medium to large produce wash lines and packhouses, the Micron Filter XL delivers efficient removal of fine solids from process water, helping growers and processors reduce water consumption while maintaining wash water quality.
Built on Wyma’s proven micron filtration technology, the Micron Filter XL offers:
- High throughput capability for modern, high volume wash lines
- Consistent fine sands, organic fibre and skin removal to improve recycled water quality
- Enhanced dewatering of filtered waste for easier downstream handling and disposal.
- Improved access for cleaning, inspection and maintenance, designed with the end user in mind
- A robust, industrial design suited to continuous operation in demanding 24/7 operating environments
“The Micron Filter XL reflects what we’re hearing directly from growers and processors globally,” said Rob Morphet, Product Portfolio Manager at Wyma Solutions. “They need scalable water treatment solutions that are practical, dependable, and designed for real world operating conditions. This system is about supporting better water reuse outcomes without adding unnecessary complexity.”
With water availability, compliance, and sustainability continuing to be major challenges for the fresh produce sector, the Micron Filter XL forms a key part of Wyma’s broader water recycling and treatment solutions, enabling customers to design systems tailored to their crop, site constraints, and regional requirements.
Wyma Solutions will be showcasing the Micron Filter XL on Stand 78–80 throughout Hort Connections 2026, alongside Australia and New Zealand market partners Manter, Burg, and Flikweert. Visitors are encouraged to speak with the Wyma team about water treatment strategies, integration with existing wash lines, and how the Micron Filter XL can be configured within complete recycling systems.
