Heat and Control will present Urschel equipment, including the new Little Gem Aspire Dicer and the MicroAdjustable SL-14 Slicing Head, during foodpro in Melbourne, Australia from July 26-29, 2026. Visit Booth R8 in the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC) to discover how they each implement precision cutting methods to deliver a smooth production flow while significantly optimizing output.
Little Gem Aspire Dicer:
With the Little Gem Aspire Dicer, produce processors can achieve slices ranging from 2 mm – 20 mm, dices up to 20 mm, and strip cuts for continuous production. Engineered through extensive R&D by Urschel Innovation & Development, the Little Gem employs a StatiCut assembly. This patented build features specialty knives designed to easily switch from one cut size to the next. The Little Gem’s small footprint makes the dicer a valuable choice for processors working with smaller capacities or in tight operations with limited space. Named after the original Little Gem, the new dicer combines easy use with strong performance, expanding on its predecessor that led Urschel to become the global leader it is today.
MicroAdjustable SL-14 Slicing Head:
The SL-14 features 14 cutting stations to offer nearly twice the capacity of the standard 8-shoe slicing head. The slicing head includes micro-adjustability plus quick-clamping technology to expedite knife changeovers with little to no tools required and without removing the head from the machine. The design incorporates carefully crafted spacing of cutting stations to maximize slice engagement. With its versatile slicing capabilities, processors can rely on the SL-14 to help optimize their processing line while lowering operational costs over time.
