For superior potato chip production
A Rosenqvists Food Technologies innovation never stands still. Our latest updates to the batch peeler are designed to help snack producers achieve greater efficiency, reliability, and product quality for every batch.
We have introduced several enhancements to improve performance, serviceability, and adaptability:
- Optimized outfeed design to accommodate larger potatoes
- Updated outfeed angle for smoother transfer to the screw conveyor
- Improved access to valves for faster and easier maintenance
- New inspection lid for quick visual checks and service access
- Flexible water supply system compatible with both recycled and fresh water
- New chute below batch weigher to reduce drop height for potato
Operators can easily adjust batch weight, speed, and peeling time to suit varying potato quality and production demands. “We’re excited to bring these improvements to our clients, helping them achieve better peeler efficiency, reduced downtime and enhanced product quality” says Mikael Larsson, Design Engineer.
The drum and bottom disk are designed for consistent peeling results and can be quickly accessed and replaced via a user-friendly opening system. For increased capacity, our twin batch peeler handles 750–1250 kg of finished potato chips per hour, depending on potato quality. This makes it a strong fit for medium to large-scale production environments.
Our Goal: Lower Total Cost of Ownership
Every design improvement we make is aimed at reducing operational costs for our clients. By combining long production runs and efficient cleaning with minimal water use, we help food producers achieve a more sustainable and profitable operation.
