Greenvale is proud to announce that it has been awarded a Silver rating by EcoVadis, the globally recognised sustainability ratings platform, following their first submission.
The achievement reflects Greenvale’s strong performance across key areas of environmental and social responsibility, with particularly high scores in Sustainable Procurement, Environmental and Labour & Human Rights categories.
EcoVadis assesses companies on their environmental, social and governance (ESG) performance, providing independent, third-party verification of sustainability credentials. The platform evaluates businesses across four core pillars: Environment, Labour & Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement, benchmarking results against more than 150,000 organisations worldwide across over 250 industries.
Greenvale’s Silver rating places the business in the top 15% of companies globally, with its overall score ranking in the 89th percentile, underlining the company’s continued commitment to responsible and sustainable practices.
Sam Stevens, Sustainability Reporting and Governance Lead, Greenvale:
“This Silver rating matters because it reflects what our people do across the business when no one is watching – the day-to-day standards and the willingness to evidence our sustainability work. I am really proud of the teams who have turned policies into proof, and look forward to turning our focus for an even stronger performance in the next cycle.”
This recognition reinforces Greenvale’s focus on delivering meaningful progress across its sustainability agenda – supporting customers, partners and stakeholders with confidence in its ESG performance, while staying in line with evolving regulatory frameworks, such as the UK Government Sustainability Reporting Standards (SRS)
The EcoVadis assessment process includes a detailed review of policies, actions and outcomes, with companies required to submit robust supporting documentation. The resulting score reflects both the quality of sustainability initiatives and the effectiveness of their implementation.
This milestone has been made possible by a collective effort across the business. Greenvale extends its thanks to all colleagues who contributed to the successful submission.
Greenvale remains committed to building on this achievement and continuing to drive positive impact across its operations and supply chain.
